ABOUT DIALECT EFFECT:

Dialect Effect is a case study VR project. It is a language learning tool in VR that transports the user to a virtual environment, allowing the user to be culturally immersed where they can learn a second language through a series of tasks, utilizing voice recognition technology. In this case Mandarin, Chinese.

As an environment artist on this project, I had the invaluable opportunity to delve into my first foray in Virtual Reality development. This endeavor not only broadened my professional skill set but also afforded me the privilege to participate in prestigious events such as the Oculus Next Gen Symposium and the Intel Games Showcase in 2018. This experience was a significant milestone in my career, enhancing my understanding and capabilities in the realm of VR.
